Themed Days and Events
Out of this world !
Year 5 and 6 had an OUT OF THIS WORLD experience today in a planetarium. As part of Y5's NOVEL STUDY this term,'George's Secret Key to the Universe', they were transported into space, as in the book. They were WOWED and inspired with creative writing ideas. I am sure that Miss Ward will be 'over the moon' with the results !
Money Week and the 'MINION MILE'
This week the children have been taking part in National Money Week. From learning about money, the cost of items and the controversial topic of using loan companies, our children have had great fun and know how to be sensible with their future funds.
In the juniors they also ran mini businesses as part of the Minion Mile Sponsored Walk event. The costumes were great today . A big thankyou to all parents.
Pupils made and sold items in a Minion Shop. The badges, buns and bookmarks were all firm favourites. The day was topped off with our ever popular MOVIE NIGHT-showing Despicable Me 1 and 2 whilst munching on hotdogs and popcorn. What could be better?
