Composing our own piece of music
In Owl class, we have been writing a setting description to describe Stig's dump (from our novel 'Stig of the dump'). To extend our learning further, we also composed a piece of music to match the setting description. Within our piece of music, we had to think about the mood that we wanted to portray and how we would use different instruments to create a specific feeling. We also had to think about how we would use the instruments in a controlled manner to create different textures and use silent beats for effect.
