On Friday 19th November, we celebrated Children in Need throughout the day by carrying out a variety of activities. These included creating handprints and then thinking about what we are truly thankful for in our lives. This incorporated some excellent discussions about things that are the most important to us e.g. water, food, electricity and we looked at how although we may think our mobile phone or playstation is important to us, we could actually live without them.
We then learnt about how Children in Need came about and how the charity works. We incorporated our art skills that we have been developing this half term, to create a watercolour background wash where we then added Pudsey bear and included facts about the charity.
Here are some photographs of our work.
