For the launch of our 'Space' topic, children found out what it was really like to be an astronaut. They went on their very own mission to space (thanks to Polestar Planetarium) where they learnt about astronauts, spacecrafts and the surface of the moon. They were able to see the intense training that astronauts have to go through in order to go into space and they learnt facts about our solar system. Children even had the opportunity to taste a variety of different astronaut food and they rated each of them out of 10 - the ice cream was a big hit!
