Remembrance Day
The children in Owl class learnt about the History of Remembrance day and what it means. We discussed how Remembrance Day traditionally marks the day that World War one ended but how we also remember all of the people who have died in conflicts, both past and present. We looked at some old newspapers which were published after the first World War and used them to create pieces of art which were displayed in our classroom window.
