Welcome to Kestrels class in Year 5
These are the class pages for the year 2020 / 2021
This year we have Mrs Radford, Mrs Clarke, Mrs Harris and Mrs Vaughan to help you in your learning.
Our first novel study begins with Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by J.K Rowling and we have created Dumbledore's office to help us immerse ourselves into the story. Later in the year we will look at Dragons as part of our Dragonology topic. Then we will move on to a Greek topic before we travel to Mexico!
At Hayfield Lane Primary, we learn through a topic based way of learning which we base on our fantastic novels. In our classrooms, we create a novel study area that allows us to immerse ourselves in the vocabulary and in the novel as much as we can.
