Our Harry Potter trip
On Friday, we visited the Harry Potter Studio Tours in London. It was fantastic. The tour started with a video clip of the main characters telling us what it was like to film the Harry Potter stories and their fond memories of their time on set. Then the screen was lifted to reveal the Great Hall. During the visit some of us had a go at flying on a broomstick whilst some of us had wand lessons. We finished the tour with a visit to the shop which was enormous. Take a look at the pictures below.

Our trip to the Space Centre in Leicester
Yesterday we went to Leicester to visit the Space Centre. We had a fantastic time. In the morning we had an earth, sun and moon workshop and then in the afternoon we went to the Patrick Moore planetarium to take a tour of the 'night sky'. We saw some constellations and even visited Saturn. Then we had time to discover the centre itself. A lot of us had a go at presenting the weather in the weather hub and then we climbed the 144 steps to the top of the rocket. We had an enjoyable journey on the way back. Due to a traffic accident, we were unfortunately delayed, so our teachers entertained us with songs from the past and made us join in. (Miss Garrity and Mrs Abson will now need the weekend to recover). Then we played an alphabet game in-between lots of snacks (thank you so much for your patience in waiting for our safe return). Well what a fantastic day we have had. The children looked amazing in their superhero costumes for our 'Be a hero' themed day. This afternoon they did some fantastic work creating a poster about what the money we have raised goes towards.
Anti bullying week
On Monday 16th November it is the start of Anti bullying week. During the week we will be doing some lessons around anti bullying but don't forget on Monday to come dressed in something blue. Keep an eye out for pictures of some of the activities we will have been doing during the week.
