Welcome to Eagles!

 

 

 

 

         

 

In Year 6, we enjoy being the oldest children in the school and are proud to take on extra responsibilities, such as being a buddy to a Foundation 2 child, helping run the school library, being a hall music technician or collecting team points for Golden Book assembly. At the same time, we learn to take increased responsibility for our own learning, in order to prepare for the move to secondary school. Miss Ward, Mrs Law, Mrs Churchfield and Mrs Cannon make sure we still have time for fun though! We love using novel study to inspire our writing and activities such as Crucial Crew, the Doncaster Book Award, a residential visit and Bikeability training help to make sure that we thoroughly enjoy our final year at Hayfield Lane!
