As you can see, we had great fun testing out our litter pickers and marketing them.

The children have worked really hard in groups creating their litter pickers. They have researched different types of litter pickers, surveyed the Y5 pupils about what they would like from a litter picker as well as creating prototypes before completing their final versions.
We were delighted to welcome the Hayfield School in today to talk about the importance of democracy and the role of parliament.
Year 6 separated different types of plants using their unique characteristics.
Year 6 have been learning about the different characteristics used to classify different animal species.
Documentaries
Year 6 have been busy creating their first documentaries about animals and plants within S. America. They had to research carefully before working in teams to produce informative and engaging pieces.
