Early Communication and Language

Children’s interactions from an early age form the foundations for language and cognitive development. Children at Hayfield Lane Primary will be immersed in stories, text, language, song and rhyme!  They will be taking part in quality conversations and interactions throughout the day in a language rich environment. It is our aim that by the time they leave the EYFS setting at Hayfield Lane Primary, pupils are able to communicate effectively and confidently in a range of different situations.
