'Elf on the shelf' day was such a magical day for both children and staff and was a great way to get everybody in the mood for Christmas! The day kick started with staff (dressed as elves) greeting children in the playground where there was an ice skating rink, festive music and a snow machine. Teachers and support staff handed each child a Santa's hat for them to wear for the day and the children were all so excited for the day ahead.
During the school day, children had the opportunity to go ice skating and visit the petting zoo where they fed and held a variety of farm animals. See photos below:
