Celebrations
This term we are looking at all the different celebrations that happen at this time of year!
We will be thinking about Halloween, Diwali, bonfire night, remembrance day, building up to Christmas and our Nativity. We are adding these onto our class timeline as they happen, so that we can remember what we have been getting up to and how everyone celebrated differently, continuing our learning around ourselves and our community!
We have really enjoyed thinking about and getting involved in the different celebrations this time of year brings!! If you have celebrated in any way, please can you share these on seesaw with us? The children have really been enjoying sharing their experiences with their classmates.

Sundown trip!
As our learning around celebrations comes to an end, we went on a trip to sundown adventure land!
We saw Santa's elves, went on a sleigh ride and then saw Santa himself! We all got a present and were super excited!
We explored the park, thinking about traditional tales, and going on rides and having a wonderful day together.
We really enjoyed this time together and the children were a credit to all of their grown ups!
Diwali
We have been learning about Diwali, and thinking about it in lots of different ways, creating rangoli patterns, making sparkler sticks, copying firework patterns and looking at lanterns and learning about how it is celebrated and why.
