PE days

Our PE days are on a Monday and a Wednesday.  Please make sure that the appropriate PE kit is in school on these days.  Kit should include: Black shorts, white t-shirt/polo shirt, pumps or trainers.  Tracksuit bottoms and jackets can also be worn for when the weather is cooler.  Children will also need to either remove their earrings or come to school with plasters that they can cover them with, before taking part in PE.

Biscuit Bees

If your child has read at home 5 times during the week and has this recorded in their planner, they will be able to enjoy a  biscuit as a reward.  Each child has their name on a bee in our classroom. Their planner is checked daily and signed off and if they have read, then they are able to move their bee to the next stage. The 'Queen Bees' who have moved 5 times will receive their treat! 

Please note that the week runs from a Friday night to the following Friday morning and remember that accessing Bug Club, reading a newspaper/magazine or book of their choice all contribute to their reading of 5 times a week. 

Extra learning

On the inside cover of your child's planner, they will have their logins for the following: Bug club, Mathletics, and Times table Rockstars.  Please encourage your child to assess these out of school to help support their learning.  Weekly spellings will also be sent out on a Friday to be tested on the following Friday.  Please note that sometimes spellings will not be issued as we may be focusing on a different aspect that week.
