Below are the lists of spellings that your child needs to know by the end of Year 4 as listed in the National Curriculum.
Within school, your child will spend 10mins daily on Spelling frame to practise given spellings which follow one of the spelling rules that children need to know in Year 4.
Every fortnight, your child will be taught a new spelling rule taken from the Year 4 National Curriculum and will be sent home a list of the words that we will be practising in school. Please find these spellings at the bottom of this page. At the end of every fortnight, your child will access the test element on Spelling Frame where they can earn spelling points that can be used to unlock further games.
