Year 3 was lucky enough to be set a task by 'Carnivore Kim' from the local wildlife park. She visited our classes to explain that the YWP (Yorkshire Wildlife Park) was interested in adopting some Gorillas but explained that they was unsure on how to look after them. She asked for our y3 children to help the staff at the wildlife park by researching all about gorillas and asked them to write a non-chronological report about them, so that staff could use the information to learn about the animal.
Our children were really enthused by the activity and couldn't wait to get started! They produced some fantastic reports which were full of interesting facts.
