PE day

Our PE day is on a Friday.  Please make sure that you come to school on a Friday dressed in your PE kit.  This should consist of black shorts, white t-shirt/polo shirt, pumps or trainers.  Tracksuit bottoms and jackets can also be worn for when the weather is cooler.  Please try to make sure that where possible, earrings are removed or covered with plasters prior to arriving at school.

Reading at home

Due to the Coronavirus, reading planners will not be issued at the moment however, please continue to listen to your child read at home 5 times a week.  Rather than sending your child home with a school reading book at the moment, they can access the books for their level on Bug Club.  They can also read books of their own, magazines, newspapers, labels on packets etc.  This all counts towards their 5 reads a week.

Extra learning

Your child will have been sent home a list of logins for: Bug club, Mathletics, Times table Rockstars, Bedrock and Purple Mash.  Please encourage your child to assess these out of school to help support their learning.  Weekly spellings will also be sent out on a Friday to be tested on the following Friday.  Please note that sometimes spellings will not be issued as we may be focusing on a different aspect that week.
