Welcome to Kestrels class in Year 5

These are the class pages for the year 2021 / 2022

 

This year we have Mrs Radford, Mrs Clarke and Mrs Kelsall to help you with your learning in Year 5.

 

Our first novel study begins with Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by J.K Rowling and we have created a magical store to help us immerse ourselves into the story. On Thursday 9th September we will have had our Harry Potter Day where we make potions and have some Harry Potter themed fun learning.

 

 Later in the year we will look at Dragons as part of our Dragonology topic. Then its off to WW2, we try to make a difference in our local area and then we study Mexico as we travel the world with Michael in Kensuke's Kingdom.
