Spring 2
In the first week back we will be learning all about Chinese New Year! The children will have the opportunity to watch Chinese New Year Celebrations, learn about important traditions and of course take part in food tasting.
We will them begin to look for signs of Spring and talk about the change in seasons. Children will enjoy a range of texts such as Dora's Eggs and Tractor Ted in Springtime. We will enjoy spring walks around the school grounds looking for changes in nature and will use these experiences to take part in a range of activities back in the classroom. As Easter approaches we will discuss why we celebrate Easter and the meaning behind Easter eggs.
