Unfortunately, our school trip to Sherwood forest was cancelled due to the current circumstances but that didn't stop us having lots of fun in school. The children started the day by making their own bow and arrows. They practised their knot skills and they searched the school grounds for the perfect arrows (sticks). The children then had a bow and arrow championship where they tested their archery skills.
The children then hunted natural resources to create their own hideout for Robin Hood. Some children decided that they were going to make a life size den for Robin Hood whilst others chose to create a model version of the settlement. The children had LOTS of fun in the forest school area and they made lots of lovely memories (see photos below).
