DT making a shaduf
For our Big Project in the Spring term, we will be designing and making a Shaduf that can be used in 3rd World countries to move water from one place to another. So, we were given a challenge to have a go at making a prototype using 4 straws, some string, blu tac, a polystyrene cup and a paper clip. We had to ensure that our shaduf had a lever, pivot, container, supports, counterweight and some rope.
