The children have been designing a puppet in the style of Punch and Judy linked to their new topic, "Oh, I do like to be beside the seaside!". They explored different materials to use and the best method to join them. The children created prototypes of their design.
The children decided that the best method to use to join their material is sewing. They practiced sewing by using threading and sewing activities. They then tested their sewing skills using a spare piece of foam.
The children have begun to make their final version of their puppet. Look at the steps they are taking.
