Launch of our Robin Hood topic
When the children returned to school, they were given a letter by Robin Hood which explained that he needed their help in finding him a new hideout. The children took to the task immediately and used their geography skills to find him a suitable forest in an ideal location with the perfect climate. They have been presenting their findings using their computing skills and have created their own tables and bar charts. The children have independently gathered lots of interesting facts about their chosen forest and they have been writing up their information in the style of a non-chronological report.
The children completed this task so well that they were awarded with their very own Robin Hood hat and they each received a certificate.
