We have also been very busy building tents and dens and have enjoyed the mud kitchen in the bungalow.

We have also looked at the story about Jaspers Beanstalk ,we have all planted a bean and now are waiting to see how they grow, we made a beanstalk using different media and used beans in our maths too.
This week we have been looking at Garden Centres, we looked at different tools that would be used ,we made some flowers and planted them . In our role play we served customers with plants and transported them around in the wheelbarrow.
We have also been lucky enough to taste some honey on toast, most of us liked the honey we thought it was very sticky to touch, but tasted sweet and yummy.
We again continued our learning outside, we painted bees on stones, looked at honeycomb, continued to look for mini beasts and have started to dig some of our outside area where we are going to plant some wild flowers to help attract bees it was hard work but we worked together.
We have also looked at the life cycle of bees, we have l learnt a lot of facts about life cycles and then we produced some amazing writing. We made bee hats and pretended to be bees.
We continued our learning outside and also we played at being 5 little speckled frogs on a log and explored our very own version of frogspawn.
We also have looked at the the life cycle of a frog, we wrote facts about tadpoles and frogs we it pictures in the correct purser to represent the life cycle, we drew some fantastic frogs and in maths we matched the frog to the correct Lilly pad.
We continued our learning outside ,we looked for mini beasts and made homes for them, we also made a habitat for us by building dens and made some leaf jewellery which helped our fine motor skills. We also sorted out the butterflies into different categories.
At the start of the week we were learning all about the life cycle of a butterfly, we made some caterpillars and some butterflies to go along with our learning.
