Sports Day
Sports day was a fantastic event with the children thoroughly enjoying all of the activities that took place. It was great to see the effort that everyone put in as well as the support that they gave to classmates.
The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebration
We have had great fun celebrating this special occasion in school by finding out about Queen Elizabeth II and her family as well as creating collages that celebrate her incredible reign.
Crucial Crew Visit
Even more great Easter activities today as we took part in the traditional egg rolling competition. It was a very close competition with three eggs nearly side-by-side. To add to the drama, the wind decided to get involved as well.

What a fantastic day! In the run up to Easter, we have had tractor rides, taken part in an egg treasure hunt, held the beautiful chicks as well as meeting some other fabulous animals.

World Book Day - What a great bunch of characters
The children absolutely loved taking part in the pancake challenges that Mr Henfield set up for them. They had lots of fun trying to keep their tricky partners under control.
Year 6 footballers have been busy training with Mr Henfield as the Vulcan Cup tournament restarts. We are looking forward to seeing how the silky skills that they have worked on in these sessions are used throughout the tournament.
Well Santa arrived today to identify the best reindeers for his sleigh. Wow, there was a lot of competition. The participants were definitely given a challenge as they had to leap in the air, weave in and out of poles as well as show how dainty they could be as they tiptoed through hoops. Sadly, some fell at the last hurdle - quite literally - but everyone left with a smile on their face and rosy red cheeks.
