Elf day
The staff at Hayfield Lane surprised the children by dressing up as elves. The children were greeted with a huge snow machine as they came into school and they enjoyed many activities throughout the day. Real reindeers came to visit and we learnt all about them and how they fly to our houses on Christmas eve. The children were also lucky enough to 'zoom' Santa himself and he read the children a lovely story and poem. Unfortunately, some of our usual Christmas celebrations haven't been able to take place due to Covid-19 but we are trying our best to make Christmas as magical as it can be for our children.
