Easter Farm Visit

We had the joy of meeting lots of farm animals including Meg the sheepdog today. The children were captivated by the experience.

World Book Day

Year 6 had fun dressing up as Wally for World Book Day or other favourite characters. They explored different texts for the book awards they are helping to judge as well as completing reading orienteering activities. On one of the pictures, can you spot Mr Bump within Wally World? A fabulous day.

With Me in Mind

With Me in Mind came in school to talk to the children about their emotions and strategies to support them when they feel worried or uncertain.

Christmas Fun!

We had a great time outside enjoying the fun fair activities to celebrate Christmas. From the hook-a-duck to the swing boats and wipeout games, it was a lot of festive fun.

Today, the children have been immersed in a Skills Builder card making challenge. They have demonstrated teamwork, leadership and communication skills. They have had to be problem solvers and creators throughout the day. They have worked really well staying positive to ensure the best results for their team.

Skills Builder very kindly matched us up with some business leaders in the corporate world so that the children could find out about their roles as well as the key skills that they used everyday. It was a fantastic session.

Hill House Hockey

Year 6 were lucky enough to have a hockey training session with a member of staff from Hill House School. They learnt how to dribble, shoot and control the ball. All great fun as you can see below.
