Scotty’s

Each week classes from across school are given the opportunity to take part in Scotty's Heroes which is a Forest School meets Bootcamp provision designed to support the pastoral work that is already undertaken in school. Starlings class will take part every Wednesday.

 

At Scotty's Heroes the children work on developing the following skills -

 

  • working together in a team
  • effective communication skills
  • showing a positive attitude towards challenging tasks
  • voicing opinions and reaching an outcome in a timely manner
  • ensuring all team members are included
  • challenging themselves to persevere through tasks
  • confidence building
  • emotional resilience

 

Please ensure that your child comes to school dressed in PE kit every Wednesday.
