Gruffalo Trail at Sherwood Pines

We will be going on our trip to Sherwood Pines on Tuesday 24th October. We have been learning about "The Gruffalo" in our Novel Studies and will hopefully meet him and his friends at Sherwood Pines. We will be able to walk around the Gruffalo trail and may even be lucky enough to bump into him. We have lots of fun activities to do on our trip and will be able to consolidate all the learning that we have done so far.

Remember, you must wear hard-wearing trousers, school jumper (the bright red will help us see you better), suitable footwear (ie. wellingtons or trainers) and a waterproof jacket.

Please be at school for 8.30am so that we can leave at 8.45am.

It's going to be a fantastic day and we will have so much fun!!

Thank you to all the Year 1 children for their fantastic effort at the "Multi-skills Festival" that took place on Monday 20th November. You were amazing and the children all had fun! We made some new friends and enjoyed welcoming them into our group for the competition. All the children who took part should have received a free t-shirt for their tremendous effort.

Well done! You were ace!
