Home Learning

Welcome to the Year 1 'Home Learning' page. Here are some activities for you to enjoy at home and support your child's learning. The activities link to recent learning at school and will consolidate and extend your child's skills, knowledge and understanding.

There are many activities to support your child's learning but if you have used all these activities and would like further ideas, please go to the 'Home Learning' section of 'Starling's Class Page'

I have placed a link to this page below:

Both classes cover the same content and support the children in achieving the same National Curriculum objectives. I have placed the Year 1 National Curriculum Objectives underneath to show you what Year 1 children are working towards.

Twinkl

Twinkl have created a fantastic resource to support parents at home - 'Twinkl Home Learning Hub'.

Each day, they will provide a set of daily activities to get involved with if you wish to do so. They also provide you with a timetable to help set out your day of learning. Year 1 children will access the 'Age 5 - 7' tab.

I have provided a link to the page below:

If you are struggling for ideas of how to support your child at home, then please check this site out. It is an amazing resource and very helpful!
