Traditional Tales
In Spring 1 we will be learning all about Traditional Tales, we will be focusing on 3 stories over the 6 weeks half term. These Stories are Goldilocks and The Three Bears, The Three Little Pigs and The Three Billy Goats Gruff.
Children will be encouraged to retell stories in their play both in the role play area and using small world puppets. We will explore different media to create representations of the characters from the stories. Children will be supported to think carefully about colour choice and will begin to explore colour mixing in order to paint the bears from Goldilocks.
There will be opportunities for the children to make and taste porridge, have a visit from the local PCSO and use their teamwork skills to build bridges.
