PASTORAL TRACKERS
If we notice that a child has become more withdrawn and are just not their usual self OR a parent is concerned that there is an issue affecting their child's emotional wellbeing, the school uses the PASTORAL TRACKER system. This involves the child rating their class sessions and unstructured time to track how they are feeling in school at those points. The tracker is then discussed with a key link worker on the staff team. Trackers are taken home so that parents and carers can see how their child has managed (emotionally) during the day. Parents are also able to add any additional information that they would like the school to know or log items that they would like support with. Trackers are also a useful tool to ensure that issues with relationships do not become more serious.
