We had a friendly visitor today...a cute and furry meerkat called Mouse. We learnt so much about meerkats which is great because we have started a new novel called "Meerkat Mail". Mouse looks just like Sunny the Meerkat who is the main character in our novel. We asked the animal expert lots of questions about meerkats which we had thought of before the visit. We will be using these facts to write a non-chronological report about meerkats. Mouse loved visiting us and exploring our room. He even tried to sneak a snack out of our fruit basket. We enjoyed making a new friend and we hope he comes to visit us again.
