As part of our skills hub challenge week, we hosted a parent event to show our grown ups everything we had learnt about 'Going Green'. We had a great time preparing and highlighting ecological issues, and how we can help to be more environmentally friendly.

Mellors catering service ran an event to teach us all about healthy choices. We learnt about the different health benefits of different fruits.

We visited the Aircraft Museum to support our learning about aviation pioneers.

The annual egg rolling competition was a great success. We had so much fun cheering each other on.

The Easter bunny came to visit us and had an egg for everyone!

As part of our fundraising efforts for Sheffield Children's Hospital, we took part in a sponsored 'Beat Scotty' event. We tackled lots of obstacles and tried to beat the time set by Scotty.

    World Book Day 2026

We celebrated all things Yorkshire to raise money for Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity.

To start our Sensational Safari topic, we had a visit from a meerkat. We thought of questions we would like to ask to find out lots of information about this animal.

Hayfield Lane's annual surprise event was so much fun.

We performed our Christmas show. Year 1 children were elf characters.
