Every class across the whole school took part in our challenge day!

It was a whole-day event resulting in a certificate celebration ceremony, celebrating the children recognising the Hayfield Super Eight skills within them.

Each class focused on diverse celebrations of faith when they made the greeting cards. We wanted to develop children’s sense of diversity and inclusion with multicultural, cross-curricular learning (RE and PSHE).

Children were encouraged to explore different ‘themes’ to develop their problem-solving and creativity skills. 

Ks2 children had to create ‘costings’ for the card to try and enhance the day using theoretical ‘money’! This will promote budgets, costings and finance & enterprise!
