P.E. days for the Nightingales are TUESDAY and FRIDAY. 

Please send your child to school with a named P.E. kit in a named bag which they can leave in school on their peg. Your child can bring their kit home at the end of each week or it can be left in school for the full half-term (we will send it home on the last day of the half-term to be cleaned). If you do not want to send a P.E. kit to keep in school, you can send your child to school wearing their P.E. kit on their P.E. days. They will wear their kit ALL day. 

P.E. kit: 

• white t-shirt
• black/dark shorts or tracksuit bottoms
• trainers or black pumps
• socks (for comfort)
• black/dark sports jumper or jacket

Children with long hair need to have their hair tied back on P.E. days. 

I would recommend that children have their hair tied back all the time to try to prevent the spread of head lice.  

Earrings must be removed or covered up with plasters during P.E. Please be aware that teaching staff will not remove earrings due to health and safety issues.
