Design and Technology

We are building a house for the Three Little Pigs that will be strong, stiff and stable. We have explored different materials and ways of joining them together before making a prototype of a house.

 

ICT

We learnt to program the BeeBots by inputting an algorithm that would allow them to follow directions. The instructions we gave were either forwards, backwards, left or right to enable the BeeBot to follow a set path.

Geography

We looked at a map of the school grounds and used it to help us locate items around our playground. We searched for objects based on the directions and locations on the map. Then we recreated a map of our school grounds and made a key to show various landmarks.

 

Music

We explored the sounds of different instruments to decide which we would use to make a piece of music to accompany the story of the Three Little Pigs.

 

 Science

We have explored the properties of different materials to help us decide what we will use to build a house for the Three Little Pigs. The second column.
