At Hayfield Lane, we regard reading as being an important skill that children need to master. To support your child in developing their reading skills, it is essential that you give your child many opportunities to practice and reinforce these skills. Please remember to read with your child as often as possible. 

Your child will bring home a reading book that is linked to the text they are working on in their Read, Write, Inc group. This book will be changed when they have completed the text in their phonics session.

You can access a variety of other books, matched to your child's reading level, by logging on to their Bug Club account.
