For our Big project, we had the task of designing and making a Shafduf which could be used in a 3rd world country to help them form an irrigation system. To do this, we studied shadufs that the Egyptians used. We then created a prototype, evaluated it and then used our findings from this to make a shaduf using wood. We learnt the techniques of how to mitre joints and how to use saws, hammers and nails safely.  The results were pretty impressive. Well done Hawks!
