In the summer term, the whole school held a Skills Builder challenge week! 

It follows the same focus as our individual challenge days but is delivered as project-based learning for all children to become involved in. It incorporates real-life career experiences with our Hayfield Super Eight! 

Children get to experience different roles in their learning in that week. They get to explore different skill progressions, without any pressure of traditional classroom-based learning.

Within the week, we incorporate school visits/experiences. For example, if the challenge is around developing a cafe, they would visit a cafe, we would invite cafe workers/managers into school, we would prototype menus and foods before finishing with a parental/community event where they are invited in to experience the children's 'fine dining' experience!
