Our new term is all about space, and it is always a huge hit with the children. We introduced space with a drawing club week and focused on the book 'Whatever Next.'
This week we have been focusing on rockets and learning how they blast off into space. We have watched some astronauts landing on the moon and imagined we were taking off in our own rocket. (The picture of us with our legs in the air is us waiting to take off.).
Our main focus this week has been to design our own rockets and label them with the items that we would like to use to make them. We are so creative in Wren Class and our rocket are looking fabulous!
We have continued our space theme this week. We have been using the peg board to make pictures of rockets and planets as well as developing our fine motor skills. We have used our creative skills to construct rockets and made aliens out of playdough.
Take a look at our amazing astronauts!
As well as our rockets we have been designing and making salt dough aliens 👽
