Whitby 2014

Well all the children arrived and were extremely excited. Due to technical difficulties we could only update the website this morning and we apologise for this.  They enjoyed a wonderful walk at Goathland down to Maylan Spout. A treck down to the waterfall was a real hit ! They were all thrilled with their luxurious bedrooms and even though the weather was a bit cold, they are having a great time.

Tuesday 17th June

Well it was a chilly start for our coastal explorers this morning with a slight drizzle of rain however it did not dampen their spirits. This afternoon they enjoyed rock pooling and the weather was far better. Tonight's entertainment is Mrs Green's infamous quiz!  Tomorrow is a day in Whitby itself which they are really looking forward to. Photos are being sent as we speak and as soon as we have them, you will be able to view them on this page.

Wednesday 18th June

Today our coastal explorers made the most of this wonderful weather by visiting the RNLI and the Captain Cook museum. Even better, they finished it off with fish and chips : ). Afterwards they enjoyed having a sandcastle building competition on the beach. They are currently playing games so they should be extremely tired out tonight. Or maybe not, due to all this excitement.  We are still having problems with emailing photos as the reception is poor but will keep on trying. Look for our update tomorrow.

Look at what we've been doing!!

Thursday 19th June

Everyone enjoyed a glorious day in Scarborough with a visit to the Sealife Centre and the castle. However, the day didn't stop there! This afternoon they headed back into Whitby for more time on the beach. This evening they will be packing ready for the return journey but will also be enjoying the England match on TV. The week has passed so quickly- you may all have very quiet weekends as they recover from all this exploring .
